Seeking Wisdom in Everyday Life

Seeking Wisdom in Everyday Life post thumbnail image

Wisdom is not something that you just happen to have when you think about it. Wisdom is something that we acquire by experience and intentional pursuit. Do you want wisdom about school, or your career, or about your relationships? Then you must intentionally seek it out from others who we regard as wise, and from the experiences that we have as we navigate life.

There’s a bit of wisdom that says this: “Whoever finds me finds life…but he who fails to find me injures himself.”

Wisdom is equated with life, but a lack of wisdom with hurting oneself. Perhaps you can think of a time when you acted in a foolish way. Can you recall how it might have hurt you? Can you think of a price you had to pay for foolish behavior?

Seek wisdom. No one attains wisdom by accident.
