Don't Take Advantage of Others
Have you ever looked longingly at the possessions or life of another person and wished you had what they have? Have you ever entertained the idea of doing violence to someone to take what they have or do so out of jealousy? Desiring what others have is a terrible way to launch your life down a destructive path. Consider what this bit of wisdom has to say about these things.
“Do not plan evil against your neighbor, who dwells trustingly beside you. Do not contend with a man for no reason when he has done you no harm. Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways.”
We all have choices to make in our relationships. We can do evil to others or we can be a source of blessing to others. Only one gains true friendships that last and will lift our souls. What kind of path do you want to choose?
